What I have discovered about myself is that I learn differently from other people. I am the kind of person who prefers to set aside that assembly instruction manual and put together that Christmas toy by laying out the pieces in an orderly fashion. There is so much pleasure in problem solving. I learn by asking myself questions. I have little patience for mundane drills and memorization if they can be avoided. Each child is different. Tutoring is my passion and as an undergraduate, I found my self always walking towards students if I noticed that they needed some help. I was not paid to do this until one of my professors advised my to work as a paid tutor. I worked a s tutor in finance, financial accounting, managerial accounting, cost accounting and intermediate accounting 1 and 2.
