My comments on tutoring Public Relations : I have a BS in communications/PR and have corporate comm/PR experience.

I have experience teaching at a two-year university and a two-year college, in composition, communications, and public speaking. I have also run an educational non-profit that works with students to set college and career goals. I hold a PhD in Educational Leadership. Education is my passion, and I would love to help local students excell!

I am a hands on kind of teacher. I like to find ways to make teaching come to life and be a fun and enjoyable experience for the student. The more one on one I can be the better. I think you can be a better teacher when you know and understand your students more. I still maintain a great relationship with girls I counseled at camp back in 2001 and 2002. Many of my students from Korea also still keep in touch with me. Building a relationship is very important to the learning process. I like to take students to places they've never been before. I love learning and the precision arts such as mathematics. This has driven me to begin in a computer career. I spent almost two decades applying my computer skills. Learning has never stopped for me. But then I love the outdoors and working with my hands. I have taught myself the carpentry trade and the concrete business. I started out by sitting down with the manuals and memorized the building codes before I built my own house. Recently I applied mathematics to a roof I was building. Simple, yes, but not everyone would take the time to lay it out on paper and get accurate measurements.
