Communications is one of my top subjects! I have a PhD in Educational Leadership, a master's in English, and have taught at a four-year university and a two-year college (including compositions, communications, and public speaking). From there I decided to pursue my graduate education and took a scholarship in the althetic department at the University of Arkansas where I became an academic advisor for the football team for 4 years. What I have discovered about myself is that I learn differently from other people. I am the kind of person who prefers to set aside that assembly instruction manual and put together that Christmas toy by laying out the pieces in an orderly fashion. There is so much pleasure in problem solving. I learn by asking myself questions. I have little patience for mundane drills and memorization if they can be avoided. Each child is different. A Little Bit About Me...

Since I was a teen I have always wanted to be a teacher. I am presently enroll at Converse College in the Master Program. I am very driven to become a certified teacher. On June 12, I will be taken the teacher certification exam. I have earned a Bachelors in Business, an Associate in Arts and a Diploma in Computer Operations. These degrees have provided me many opporunities for advancement with previous employees. Recently, the company I was working for closed, this has allowed me to persue my life long dream.
