I love teaching! Seeing a student’s eyes light up, as they first understand a new concept, is very rewarding. I am a very patient and easy-going, yet focused. I take the time to be sure a student truly understands something before we progress. I feel that instruction needs to be tailored to the student. Children are amazing artists due to the fact that they don't censor themselves creatively like most adults tend to do. I teach, instilling confidence through positivity and constructive criticism. I encourage children to experiment and discover their own style. I teach the basic fundamentals as well as the techniques of painting and let the children find their own unique style. Turning a blank page into a work of art shows that something beautiful and imaginative can be created through each individual.
