I have been teaching piano and bass guitar to students for almost 10 years. I am a 4.0 student who has mastered the ability to study efficiently. In 2010, I was awarded a teaching assistantship at the University of New Mexico where I was asked to teach 2 undergraduate classes in communication. However, I rejected this position as I accepted a Master's program at a different University, but underwent the training required for TA's at UNM.
I believe that students learn best in an environment that promotes encouragement and relational interaction with their tutors. While I believe in creating a stress free, fun environment, I believe in helping students set their own rigorous goals. I am skilled at helping students create plans that help them achieve the goals they have in their education. My style could be described as a combination of structured organization and stress free fun.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am a very patient teacher and truly enjoy finding the best ways to explain difficult concepts in a simple manner. I am also very easy-going and considerate in my methods. If my students finds one way of explaining a concept difficult to understand, I always try to think of another way to explain it. I feel that, if given time and practice, anyone can learn anything, and I'm willing to invest that time into somebody if they're willing to take the time to learn and practice.
As a student at Eastern New Mexico University, I enjoyed taking time to help my fellow students in their math studies. This enjoyment eventually drove to get a job as a tutor during my last 2 years in college.
