I believe that students learn best in an environment that promotes encouragement and relational interaction with their tutors. While I believe in creating a stress free, fun environment, I believe in helping students set their own rigorous goals. I am skilled at helping students create plans that help them achieve the goals they have in their education. I have been teaching piano and bass guitar to students for almost 10 years. I am a 4.0 student who has mastered the ability to study efficiently. In 2010, I was awarded a teaching assistantship at the University of New Mexico where I was asked to teach 2 undergraduate classes in communication. However, I rejected this position as I accepted a Master's program at a different University, but underwent the training required for TA's at UNM.

As a student at Eastern New Mexico University, I enjoyed taking time to help my fellow students in their math studies. This enjoyment eventually drove to get a job as a tutor during my last 2 years in college. I worked with college students of all ages and worked on developing power points and study guides to help my students succeed in their classes. I've also had experience helping younger high schoolers in their math studies. I also have taught given many people piano lessons, and enjoyed that experience. I've taught mostly beginners between the ages of 10 and 21.
