My comments on tutoring Piano : Was in band and other musical groups in school. Took piano lessionas as a kid.

While in College I was a part time nanny for a single Mom with twins. I started taking care of the twins when they were 2 and continued until they were almost 4. I was an assistant teacher part time at little playmates preschool daycare. During my time there I worked with the 2 and 3 year old class and the 4 and 5 year old class. I also helped the older children with homework. I was responsible for helping with meals, playtime and supervising outside activities. I also volunteered at the learning tree center daycare preschool where I helped with story time and art activities. I was a religious education teacher from 2003 to 2004. In 2010, I was awarded a teaching assistantship at the University of New Mexico where I was asked to teach 2 undergraduate classes in communication. However, I rejected this position as I accepted a Master's program at a different University, but underwent the training required for TA's at UNM.

As a student at Eastern New Mexico University, I enjoyed taking time to help my fellow students in their math studies. This enjoyment eventually drove to get a job as a tutor during my last 2 years in college. I worked with college students of all ages and worked on developing power points and study guides to help my students succeed in their classes. I've also had experience helping younger high schoolers in their math studies. I also have taught given many people piano lessons, and enjoyed that experience.
