I am an Engineer by education and trade. I have a Physics degree and I have worked in production-cell support throughout my working career. My main responsibilities have been focused on training different people, with different skills and different approaches.
I am a very easy going and open minded educator. In college, I was the person that other students came to for guidance with difficult topics, from mathematical equations to evolutionary theory. Since I earned my BS in wildlife biology, I have taught in many capacities, including as a substitute teacher and as a trainer for new employees. A Little Bit About Me...

I have always had an affinity for math and history. As a result, I went to Colorado State University to major in history, but I took a few math classes as well. I know how to do math up to Calculus 1. Last summer I tutored a girl going into the fourth grade. She came out of third grade not understanding any of the math taught, because the teacher believe that people should feel good, not actually learn the material. When she started fourth grade, she was at the forefront of her class in mathematical understanding.
I am a very patient and kind hearted person. I am able to relate to teenagers and can get through to children. I find that as long as I have the students respect, then progress can be made.
