I have always had an affinity for math and history. As a result, I went to Colorado State University to major in history, but I took a few math classes as well. I know how to do math up to Calculus 1. Last summer I tutored a girl going into the fourth grade. She came out of third grade not understanding any of the math taught, because the teacher believe that people should feel good, not actually learn the material. When she started fourth grade, she was at the forefront of her class in mathematical understanding. I am a very patient and kind hearted person. As the oldest of seven children, I am very comfortable working with children and enjoy it very much.
