My teaching style is very open. I want to talk and refer to text often. When it comes to just learning English period I am very cultural and I take advantage of the auxiliary sense and make you put it to good use. It can be a tad rough trying to explain the context of English without the content. The content are the random people having everyday conversation. Of, course you need to know the logistics and grammar but, I am a firm believer that you can't possibly know where a comma goes if you don't know what your saying or how. When it comes to textual work such as; Grammar, Language Arts, Spelling, Creative Writing, Theater, and Literature I first go to the text because its the base. We always need a base to drift back to. I strongly support the belief that all children are capable of learning if given sufficient opportunity. As a classroom teacher often facing as many as 37 students at one time, it was difficult to provide the appropriate learning environment for many of these children's needs.
