I am a very patient and compassionate individual. I will always help a person capitalize on his or her academic strengths, while working patiently but dilligently to recognize his or her weaknesses. I am a 21 year-old senior attending UW-Milwaukee. I will be graduated in December 2012 with a BA in Literary and Critical Studies with a minor in Philosophy. I have not had any formal experience with tutoring but have always been someone who my friends and fellow students seek out to proof read their papers and to give suggestions or comments. Most of my primary education experience involved me in music. I played the piano for 16 years, cello for 9 and self taught the violin and some other instruments. I prefer tutoring with stringed instruments. I then transitioned to sports like tennis and soccer. In college, after changing degrees a couple times, I graduated with a BS in Biology, minored in Chemistry with a Pre-Med certificate. I actively engage the student in their learning, encouraging them to answer their own questions rather than simply lecturing.
