I have recently graduated from the University of New Mexico with a degree in foreign languages (German, Spanish and French) and evolutionary anthropology. I have a commanding knowledge of the English language and also have a semester's experience working with the UNM newspaper, the Daily Lobo, including a brief time as the editor of the news desk. During my undergraduate career I studied abroad in Germany for a semester, as well as participated in an internship in Nicaragua for 5 months. These two experiences greatly increased my understanding of the German and Spanish languages and cultures. Very open to however the student(s) believes they will learn best. While in New York, I worked for two years as a teacher of Science at a Junior High school in the Bronx. There I was awarded "Rookie-Teacher-of-the-Year." For one year, I also tutored after school to earn extra money. I have also taught in California and Santa Fe, NM.
