Since my days as a graduate student, I love to learn, as both student and teacher. As teacher, I've taught Humanities at the Junior College level, teaching Fine Arts, Music, English literature and Philosophy. I've taught students to make connections, relationships, between what they see and hear. Sight and Sound, then, allow them to develop their thinking in ways that isolated thought or thought patterns preclude. I've learned the Humanities are wonderful resources for thinking, as they for developing 'intuitive imagination.' In addition to classroom teaching, I've tutored students in their homes, in environments that support love and freedom, using Calvert's Home School Program.
