As an individual involved in advanced development activities at Eastman Kodak, I had the opportunity to apply my knowledge of science into product development and I also had the opportunity to train other individuals in the workings of a new product as that product became commercialized and a large staff of engineers and technicians were needed for the product's manufacture. I prefer a one on one or a classroom style envionment. One on one training allows me to focus on the student and understand the areas that he or she may be having difficulty with which allows me to tailor my curriculum to the student's needs. I believe in hands on work by the student such that he or she can demonstrate back to me that the concepts have been understood. I have 20 years of Finance, Information Systems and Engineering experience. As a person that put himself through college, both undergrad and grad school and then taught at a local Community College, I bring a unique perspective on the value that education can bring to a person's life. During my years at undergraduate study I tutored mathematics and physics even though most were graduate students. At the same college I was also a laboratory assistant for College Chemistry 1 and 2. A good portion of my other position was working at the Drake Memorial library where I assisted both student and teachers with finding resource materials.
