I taught regular ed. 3rd grade, all subjects,special ed., 3rd-5th and SRA reading classes, high school grades 9-12, career ed., health, and reading to behaviorally challenged students. I use positive reinforcement in order to increase a behavior of choice. The behaviors we want to increase can range from working more math problems, reading more, increase doing home work, increase studying, etc. An instructional method will be used as well in order increase their knowledge of the subject and then positive reinforcement will increase their confidence and motivation which is necessary for success.
