This is not very professional sounding, however I have helped all of my friends pass classes with As or Bs from 7th grade all the way to the end of high school. I never charged them. If they still don't understand, I don't go on to the next part of the lesson. I make sure they know and understand how to do the first part before I go onto the second part. Also I make things as simple as possible, complexing a subject doesn't do any good when it comes to teaching.
