I seek to bring understanding to and appreciation for math.

I have been tutoring for over 5 years, both privately and with businesses. In regards to business, I have tutored at Glendora Learning Center (Math and Spanish tutor), the Azusa Pacific University Math Center (Math tutor), and the APU Learning Enrichment Center (Math and Spanish tutor). My comments on tutoring Geometry : Tutored basic math through advanced calculus in college. I went to State competition in my freshman year of high school on the Geometry team.

I excelled in both math and English tracks in high school, and when they ran out of math classes I could take, I started on computers. Geometry is one of my top subjects! Geometry came very easily to me. People would say it's really hard and I found find ways to explain it to them. Geometry is easy once you see the bigger picture.

I like to take what they know, help them understand it a little more, then apply it. I walk them through different questions they encounter and then watch them try it for themselves. If they make a mistake, I help them understand what went wrong and how to fix it. I am very hands on and I like to reward them with encouraging comments.
Although, I'm still a high school student, I've helped many students in my class with understanding what they were taught. I've been told by a lot of my friends that I should become a teacher. I love teaching, and if it had a higher salary pay, that would be my career choice. I've been helping kids with math before I realized that I was helping them. I love it when they understand it and their face just lights up.

Hello, I'm a senior at Canyon High and a valedictorian of my class of 2013. I have taken over 10 AP tests (with scores of 4 or 5 on all of them) and succeeded in getting 2340 on the SAT.
