My teaching style would be consider hands on. I feel that the best way to learn in any subject matter.

All children can learn if properly motivated. I use a modified socratic method of teaching, engaging the child in a dialogue about the subject matter. We explore together using books and the internet to find answers. All of my students improved in their school work in a dramatic fashion. Some saw their grades jump as much as 60%.

This program allowed students to come in on a walk-in basis to a dormitory, on Sunday-Thursday evenings, to receive tutoring in any of their engineering and science classes, including: chemistry, physics, calculus, trigonometry, computer programming, etc. I tutored students for 3 years, 2 evenings each week.
