In 2009, I completed a profession editing certificate to add to my degrees in English and rhetoric. Because of this experience, I am confident teaching and tutoring the humanities (English, history, philosophy, etc.) at high-school and college levels. For two years, I have taught all subjects as an aid in a fourth and fifth grade special day (SDC) class. As a classroom instructor, I am conscious that one needs to constantly engage with and interact with the class. I always taught in a tutorial style, where after I've introduced the material the students must solve a puzzle or problem based on it.
