In my experience as a musician, I have found that teaching a subject I love can really inspire students to excel. It's necessary to spread our knowledge to others. My specialty is music, but I love to teach in general because kids need good mentors. Each child is different so I use an individualized approach to my teaching styles. We all learn differently whether we are auditory, visual, or kinesthetic learners. I asses the student and provide the material/exercises necessary in order to create the best learning experience possible.

A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching is a great joy for me, as it is easy to see I love working with children of all ages. I enjoy the challenge that arises when teaching a group of children that learn in different ways. Understanding that it is important for all to learn, finding creative ways to get points across and bring the students into the topic has always been amazing. Engaging them in the subjects, not just talking to them, motivates them to be more attentive. This method also allows them to see what they know. By not completely depending upon me, they then begin to push themselves.
