Because each individual student is important to me, I seek to get to know each student personally while retaining a professional demeanor. A variety of instructional methods must be used to engage all students in learning. My BA degree was in Speech & Theatre. Who would have known that a shy kid like me would have excelled in public speaking, english, and theatre. I love the English language, even though I've had classes in French and Spanish. I started school when I was 4 years old (too early), and all my grade school years was challanged with education. I taught college students computer science and applications courses at Sanford Brown College and National College. I taught 7th grade English as a second language for the Kansas City School District.
