My entire life has been surrounded by both music and technology and I'm looking to share that with my students. In terms of musical instruction, though the particular curriculum I use varies from student from student, I am a firm believer in first connecting to music they already know and using that as a starting point to get them invested in the music. In terms of technology and other instruction, my number one goal is making sure that the student understands the particular subject before moving onto other, harder subjects. As a Portland State University graduate, I have learned how important it is to have a solid math foundation to continue to build and achieve higher education.
