Experience Summary
As a tutor, I offer a variety of experience and skills, including two bachelor degrees, BA in English and BA in French. My advanced skills are in the language and language arts areas, but I am qualified to tutor students in all required areas of study.
I have some prior tutoring experience, and have assisted many trainees in my previous career, but my natural ability with languages is my forte. I am enrolled in a teacher certification program, and have passed all my prerequisite exams, including TESL.
My easy rapport with children gives me a natural gift as an instructor. I am a mature, patient, and knowledgeable instructor with a passion for education and a dedication to instilling my love of learning in others.
Teaching Style
I am a patient, creative person, with an ever-present sense of humor. I have a strong work ethic, and consider academic success as both a great necessity and a great gift in a child’s life.
My goal is to make learning fun, as well as successful. Once a student feels success, the fun then comes naturally. I try to build confidence and self-esteem in children through academic success, as I believe they are irrefutably linked.
My hope is to be the teacher that is remembered, the one who made a positive academic and personal impression. Ultimately, I hope to help your child achieve his or her academic goals, to meet your parental expectations, and to share a love of learning.
