As an adult I have been pursuing my dream of being an educator. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and am working on my Master's Degree in Deaf/Hard of Hearing Education. During my studies at Northwest Florida State, I was able to experience a total of 60 total hours in elementary and middle school classrooms. I learned various teaching techniques and styles, and also assisted in helping students in reading and math. In South Korea, I taught English as a foreign language for 16 months. Here, I continued to hone my teaching style and learned how best to help my students by understanding their specific learning styles and teach accordingly. Because of the small class sizes, I was able to give each student the help they needed. I brushed up on my own grammar while teaching my older students.
