As an adult I have been pursuing my dream of being an educator. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and am working on my Master's Degree in Deaf/Hard of Hearing Education. I feel that it's very important to understand each individual child's learning style and consequently, teach accordingly. If he/she is more of an audio learner, I would use songs and sounds to teach them. If they learn by seeing and doing, I would want to find activities that connect to the subject being learned. A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching to me is one of the greatest pleasures I have. Helping children learn and making learning fun is something I strive for. I understand that all children are different and teaching styles need to be just as different. I like to find different ways for children to like and understand a problem that was once difficult. I listen and like the children to explain to me their difficulties and come up with a solution together to make learning fun.
