A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching to me is one of the greatest pleasures I have. Helping children learn and making learning fun is something I strive for. I understand that all children are different and teaching styles need to be just as different. I like to find different ways for children to like and understand a problem that was once difficult. I listen and like the children to explain to me their difficulties and come up with a solution together to make learning fun.
I have always worked with children, from baby sitting to working in a licensed day care facility. I have helped children with their homework and love the challenges early childhood creates. A Little Bit About Me...

During my studies at Northwest Florida State, I was able to experience a total of 60 total hours in elementary and middle school classrooms. I learned various teaching techniques and styles, and also assisted in helping students in reading and math. In South Korea, I taught English as a foreign language for 16 months. Here, I continued to hone my teaching style and learned how best to help my students by understanding their specific learning styles and teach accordingly. Because of the small class sizes, I was able to give each student the help they needed. I brushed up on my own grammar while teaching my older students.
