I have a very strong passion for education and feel it is of utmost importance in this world. Given that, I always try my best to explain to students how what they are learning matters, and equip them with the tools they need to succeed on their own. I take what I do seriously, but also feel humor has its rightful place in the classroom or where ever learning happens. I have two years of experience teaching and tutoring ESOL in Japan, in both classroom environments and in private one-on-one sessions. At Adult Basic and Literature Education, I serve as a math and grammar tutor in the GED and ESOL programs. Also, I assist the students on how to obtain basic computer techniques so that they can operate the computer. I am able to communicate with Spanish-speaking students and read French. As for my technical, web designing, and software knowledge, I have a background in computer troubleshooting, Adobe Photoshop, HMTL, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etcetera. I would like to think that I was able to help some students. Accounting is not an easy subject to learn for someone who has never been exposed to it. I feel I have the proper background to help.
