Experience Summary
I'm Dave and I'm ready to share my personal and professional experience with you to help you achieve your goals and outperform even your own expectations. If there's one thing that I've learned in achieving success, it's that you only fail when you don't try, and that path starts with a defeatist attitude. As Doc Brown says: "If you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything."
Having professional and personal experience as an engineer, a linguist, a musician, a mechanic, and a graphic designer allows me to enjoy a broad worldview as the ability to connect seemingly unrelated concepts results in a deeper understanding of the world we live in. As a teacher, this also affords me the ability to reach any student, regardless of their background or interests.

Teaching Style
Having a diverse professional background allows me to communicate in varied ways. I'm a big believer in hands-on practice, regardless of the discipline as much as I am committed to theory. When used in conjunction, practice and theory are the path to success. I'm a pretty easy-going guy and believe a good sense of humor goes a long way in understanding just about anything.
My Hobbies
When I'm not neck-deep in homework assignments, I like to read or arrange some sort of get-together with fellow musicians.
