Experience Summary
I have two years of experience teaching and tutoring ESOL in Japan, in both classroom environments and in private one-on-one sessions. The age groups I have taught range from 1st graders in elementary school, to adult factory workers. I also have two-three years of experience tutoring college-level students in Japanese.
Teaching Style
I have a very strong passion for education and feel it is of utmost importance in this world. Given that, I always try my best to explain to students how what they are learning matters, and equip them with the tools they need to succeed on their own. I take what I do seriously, but also feel humor has its rightful place in the classroom or where ever learning happens.
My Hobbies
I enjoy reading, playing video games, listening to music, and drawing. I take great interest in learning new things and exercise regularly.
