I have two years of experience teaching and tutoring ESOL in Japan, in both classroom environments and in private one-on-one sessions. The age groups I have taught range from 1st graders in elementary school, to adult factory workers. I also have two-three years of experience tutoring college-level students in Japanese. I have a very strong passion for education and feel it is of utmost importance in this world. Given that, I always try my best to explain to students how what they are learning matters, and equip them with the tools they need to succeed on their own. I have a backelors degree from bowling green in ohio. While I am lacking in practical experience in the field of economics, due to lack of economics positions in ohio (scarcity), I have kept up with readings and occasional youtube videos on economic ideas. I would then select another similar question to see if the student can apply what we just discussed. As a Senior in college, I worked the help room for students taking the first year accounting class. I spent my time answering questions and helping people work study questions.
