A Little Bit About Me...

I have been teaching Spanish for 5 years and taught ESL for two years when I lived in Spain. I went to Spain to improve my Spanish and I recommend my students to study abroad! It is the best way to learn/practice the language as well as really get to know the culture. Right now, I am tutoring - working for myself and/or companies. Spanish is my expertise, yet, I can help, teach, tutor students in Middle School or younger in English, Science and Social Studies.

I have a degree in English from Syracuse University in New York. I have 15 years of tutoring and teaching experience in English and Spanish. My previous work positions include: teaching Spanish at the University of Colorado (CU) in Boulder, tutoring English and Spanish at CU-Boulder, and tutoring English and Spanish at Front Range Community College in Longmont, Colorado. I earned a BA in Music from the University of California, Los Angeles where I also completed a post-graduate year required for a California life-time teaching credential. I am an experienced classroom teacher (3rd/4th LA City Schools and Casablanca, Morocco) as well as music specialist (LA City Schools) and piano teacher (California/Colorado).
