I worked at San Jose Elementary on a 2 month assignment & then finished that school year at Blanton Elementary where I had been pre-assigned. I worked at Blanton for only 1 1/2 years due to the loss of funding. While there I tutored through A+Cat for a year. My first job was as a junior camp counselor, with NYC SYEP at the age of fifteen. Due to an outstanding performance and great relationship with the children I was asked to return the follow summer, as a senior counselor.
