Shortly after college I worked at a preschool and then chose to sub for many years.I taught middle school for a year at a private school too. I decided my real calling was to the elementary. I worked at San Jose Elementary on a 2 month assignment & then finished that school year at Blanton Elementary where I had been pre-assigned. I worked at Blanton for only 1 1/2 years due to the loss of funding. While there I tutored through A+Cat for a year. The following 2 years I worked as a Title I teacher at Woodlawn Elementary, until our budget was cut again & several of us were let go this past June.I've passed all the tests required for certification & have my temporary certificate.
