I taught for ten years in the chicago public school system,mostly seventh and eighth grades.My next career was in real estate finance where I have almost 30 years of experience.I owned a mortgage company where I trained all the new loan officers.Also I was an owner of a small savings and loan where I also instucted new employees in many phases of banking.I recently was a recruiter for the us census bureau where I tested about 1000 individuals who applied for work with the census.

Elementary Phonics is one of my top subjects!

Hello, I have a bachelors in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida. I have taught in three schools around the county, differing in academic and socio-economic levels. I have personally taught grades K-4, but am certified to teach up to grade 6. I also have experience in SES and ESOL classes. Math can be fun and interesting if you have the right tools!

I enjoy using a variety of techniques with my students. We play games, use various software programs, and other helpful one on one devices to assist students in understanding and remembering concepts.
I have served as a guidance counselor in middle schools for almost forty years and retired in December, 2013. During the last twelve years, I have tutored students in math in groups and individually.
