I love hands-on activities and learning experiences that include technology. I also like to include activities that appeal to all types of learning styles. I have used and implemented Howard Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences when planning and implementing lessons.
I Have been a teacher since 2002. I love the experience of teaching children and seeing the light in their eyes when they understand what they are learning. I believe each child learns in their own way and in their own time. I have worked with all different ages of students, from 3rd grade to college, and enjoyed all of my experiences. I find that no matter who the student is I enjoy teaching and helping other, helping an individual to not only grasp concepts but develop a stronger self confidence in their learning.
