I love hands-on activities and learning experiences that include technology. I also like to include activities that appeal to all types of learning styles. I have used and implemented Howard Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences when planning and implementing lessons.
I Have been a teacher since 2002. As a Hiram College student I feel I have gained a great deal of knowledge through a combination of learning from excellent instructors and having a variety of teaching experiences. I student taught tenth grade for a semester during my senior year of college at West Geauga High School. This experience was very valuable and prepared me for working with students in a variety of ways.
