I am proficient in ASL, I have been an interpreter for almost 20 years as well as being a coda(child of deaf adults) I have signed since birth being born to deaf parents. I have Interpreted for approximately 20 years in the school system at the junior high school and high school levels. I have hearing impaired family and friends & am immersed in the deaf culture which helps keep my signing vocabulary current.
