In order to achieve the knowledge necessary to teach secondary level students reading and writing skills I have been driven to achieve a Masters degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Secondary English. Through extensive research of learning strategies for both English speaking and English Language Learners, I have gained knowledge of the best techniques for learning English Language skills. A Little Bit About Me...

As a person who holds both a BA and MA in English, each with concentrations in writing (creative and technical, respectively), I am qualified to, and have for several years, tutored English language studies skills, including composition, grammar, punctuation, and reading comprehesion, to students from the third grade through college. I have also taught English composition at the college level. Additionally, I have tutored students from primary to secondary school in other liberal arts subjects where English language and study skills are applicable, such as social studies and history. As well, I have tutored primary school students in science and arithmetic. Finally, I have also tutored beginning guitar.
