After receiving a Bachelor of Music in Education degree from Youngstown University, Youngstown, Ohio I was employed by the Crestwood Schools, Mantua, Ohio to teach instrumental music. I taught this subject at the middle school level while assisting with the high school program. My entire thirty year career in instrumental music was with the Crestwood School System. During my tenure at Crestwood Middle School the instrumental music program evolved into a vital program within the school involving four bands and over 250 students. I am an excellent teacher. Each child's learning style is different, as I have learned with my own children and I must try to find ways that work for each individual. I believe in hands on learning for many students that struggle with concepts, especially math. I love learning new ways to get the lesson across.

I have always excelled at mathematics. I once was certified K-12 in math. I have taught math at the high school level and have tutored adults prepping for the GRE. My degree in Humanities was fulfilled by taking coursework in American Literature and English, which I have also taught at a local career college.
