Literally all my life I have been asked by students, parents and teachers to help students who were having trouble. I get tremendous fulfillment from watching someone who has been frustrated finally "get it." I earned my BS in Education degree in 1970 but chose to enter the field of law enforcement. I remained the the field of law enforcement for 10 years and then began teaching. The skills and experiences in law enforcement have given be a strong base to draw upon for teaching Civics and History.
