I gained my BA in History only after years of serious and devoted study, and I bring a respect for whatever subject I teach to the classroom. Every student can learn with motivation. Most of my classes were self-paced, and I had great success in motivating students of all types. My most recent position was teaching science to at-risk high school students who averaged 4th grade levels in reading and math. Every participating student earned credits in science, a first for most of them.
