As a graduate of BYU-Idaho I have learned the importance of education and how blessed an individual is who pursues it. I was able to take numerous courses dealing with reading, writing and psychological development of children. I have been been able to work with children and help with areas of struggle since last fall. The ages being between 4-14. I am currently a therapist for children and help them with day to day goals that they are trying to accomplish.
I love interacting with children and teaching them to the best of my ability. A Little Bit About Me...

I have had approximately one year of combined teaching experience. I have taught junior high and high school age kids. I have done student teaching as well as taught my own art class. I have also taught several years of adult religious classes.
I believe that all kids have the potential to be incredible learners. I believe that in order to tap into that children and adults need to find their self-confidence. A Little Bit About Me...

I recently earned my bachelor's degree in Chemistry. I was in advanced math classes and have studied up through Calculus, testing out of an Algebra II class. I excell at spelling, and earned a ribbon in a spelling bee in elementary. I was also in AP and Honors English classes and wrote a paper that impressed my college teacher so much he wished to used it as an example for future classes. I have also taken classes for 5 years of ballet, 4 of tap dance, 2 of jazz dance, 4 of choir, and 1 year of harp. I also completed a year and a half of college Latin. I am a kid at heart. I understand and relate to children of all ages. I believe that if you are patient with those that are trying to learn, and can find things that they relate to, teaching becomes easier for everyone involved. I have found success in the past with helping youth, and am confident that I can earn their trust enough to assist them in their studies.
I had a son with some special needs. I had to help him with his math throughout most of his junior high and high school years. From time to time, other students in my neighborhood have asked for assistance with their school studies. Assisting them when needed is something I have done several times over the years.
