I am a freshman at BYUI, studying to become a Physician's Assistant, and minoring in English. I love English, music, and history! As a graduate of BYU-Idaho I have learned the importance of education and how blessed an individual is who pursues it. I was able to take numerous courses dealing with reading, writing and psychological development of children. I like to have visuals. They are important no matter what age. i use powerpoint, pictures, think of stories, and try to get the students involved as much as they can. People either learn, by seeng, doing, or both, so it is good to teach using all of the learning tools.
As a business major I learned alot about the importance of language and communication. I took classes in english, and writing. I was a tutor for over 100 students for 2 years in finance and taght a class twice a week on Microsoft Excel.
