My comments on tutoring Spanish : I am not a fancy certified teacher. I don't speak Castilian Spanish, and I don't pretend that the Spanish that I speak is as formal as they speak in Madrid, but I am fluent, and I do know the language. I am new to the field of teaching, and trying to help others while I make a name for myself. I don't promise to make you fluent in Spanish overnight, but with interest and participation from you, I will teach you the Spanish that you need to accomplish your goals.

Rather, I require my students to learn and extensively practice even the most basic concepts until they are no longer problems, and this allows the students to move on to more complicated concepts, but, as needed, I patiently explain any concepts that are unclear. At UM, I received a scholarship in which I tutored the students, helping with thesises, short papers, as well as summaries. I worked at the University's writing lab, and found it very inspirational as well as beneficially rewarding. At USA, I had a similar scholarship.
