Experienced tutor, 4.00 B.A. and HS GPA, Kent State Grad

Having assisted with homeschooling my brother for the last five years, I have extensive experience in tutoring. My comments on tutoring Social Studies : Certified to teach Social Studies.

My teaching style varies from student to student. I believe in group work, I believe in independent work, and I believe that all students should have the opportunity to expand their minds. I allow students to research, explore, and analyze answers on their own while offering them support and encouragement.
After graduating from college with a Bachelor's degree in Middle School Education, I taught for 8 years in a middle school in North Carolina. During this time, I went back to school and received a Master's degree in Special Education. I have taught grades 6th, 7th, and 8th. I love helping students and allowing their minds to fill with knowledge! I believe that every student CAN LEARN!
