I Have been a teacher since 2002. I have had various experience in teaching students diagnosed with ADD, ADHD, Asperger's Syndrome, OCD, PDD, ODD, as well as other learning, social, emotional, and behavioral disabilities. I have also had experience tutoring students from grades one to ten. I have had to plan and implement individual education plans as well as independent lessons for various students. I have worked with children from all types of schools including inner city and charter schools.

Also, I assist the students on how to obtain basic computer techniques so that they can operate the computer. I am able to communicate with Spanish-speaking students and read French. As for my technical, web designing, and software knowledge, I have a background in computer troubleshooting, Adobe Photoshop, HMTL, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etcetera. After graduating from college with a Bachelor's degree in Middle School Education, I taught for 8 years in a middle school in North Carolina. During this time, I went back to school and received a Master's degree in Special Education. I have taught grades 6th, 7th, and 8th. Set Realistic Goals and Rewards Create realistic, individual goals for all of your students. It's nice to have a classroom goal so students feel like they are working together, encouraging one another. However, it's more important to give each student an attainable goal that's personalized for their educational needs, such as completing homework assignments on time or checking over an assignment before they turn it in. Providing students with a personalized, attainable goals makes them feel like they can succeed and doesn't overwhelm them. Discuss with students the rewards for achieving their goals.
