As a under graduate and a graduate, I was very much driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education. I have earned a bachelor degree in Liberal Studies and a concentration in Math, which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math, Language arts, health, social studies, grammar, arts, and Spanish. In addition, I have taught first, second, and third grade in Los Angeles Unified School District in California for three years. My teaching style involves getting to know the student as a person first and going from there. Learning how he/she learns something new and what he/she knows and doesn't know quite yet. Every child is different in the way that he/she learns and a person how to figure that out first for a child to be successful. I tutored elementary students while in high school. I am now an Education major at Midwestern State University and I will graduate in May of 2010. At my last job I helped tutor students and get them ready for test and quizzes etc. I enjoy working with kids I can't think of anything better to do with my time.
