My BA (cum laude) and my MA are both in History; I am certified in Texas to teach History (6-12), Composite Social Studies (6-12), English (6-12), English Language Arts (6-12), English as a Second Language (EC=12), Reading (6-12), Generic Special Education (PK-12}, and I am an EC-4 Generalist. My teaching style involves getting to know the student as a person first and going from there. Learning how he/she learns something new and what he/she knows and doesn't know quite yet. Every child is different in the way that he/she learns and a person how to figure that out first for a child to be successful. I tutored elementary students while in high school. I am now an Education major at Midwestern State University and I will graduate in May of 2010.
