Experience Summary
I have eight years of experience in teachig GED and ESL classes in adult correctional facilities. My BA (cum laude) and my MA are both in History; I am certified in Texas to teach History (6-12), Composite Social Studies (6-12), English (6-12), English Language Arts (6-12), English as a Second Language (EC=12), Reading (6-12), Generic Special Education (PK-12}, and I am an EC-4 Generalist.
Teaching Style
I most enjoy encouraging lively discussions with students, The silent student is less likely to be learning than the one who is eagerly asking and answering questions. I am proud to say that I have the humor, skill, and patience necessary to help young minds discover new knowldge.
