Experience Summary
As a under graduate and a graduate, I was very much driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education. I have earned a bachelor degree in Liberal Studies and a concentration in Math, which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math, Language arts, health, social studies, grammar, arts, and Spanish. In addition, I have taught first, second, and third grade in Los Angeles Unified School District in California for three years. During this period I have taught all subjects and modified school curriculum to meet my students need. Furthermore, I have tutored students in Spanish, Language Arts, and mathematics.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and working with all children. I strongly believe all children can learn, but each in different ways. I am patient, easy going, creative, hard worker, and considerate. My goal is to provide the best education possible. I am a firm believer in teaching through hands on, visuals, kinesthetic, auditory, and discovery to provide a constructivist approach to learning. I believe all children can meet their potential if they are given the appropriate guidance, surroundings and learning experiences. A few good educators can make a world of difference in a child's education. I strive to make a difference in all of my students' live.
